1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Dev-Buddy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Dev-Buddy is an Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) platform that provides vulnerability scanning, security auditing, and automated remediation tools for web applications. The Service includes a SaaS dashboard, browser extension, and backend API.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

Use the Service to scan or test systems you do not own or have permission to test.
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
Use the Service to develop competing products.
Share your account or API keys with unauthorized third parties.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed on a monthly recurring basis through Stripe.
You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Dev-Buddy and is protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Dev-Buddy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Data & Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
